We’re an independently owned and operated Kingswell location, which means the people who show up at your door in Austin are the people who answer for the work. No subcontractor roulette, no rotating cast. Our crew has installed and replaced windows and doors across Austin since 2009, from Mueller to Barton Hills to Steiner Ranch. What unites us is simple: we write down the price before we touch anything, we show up when we say we will, and we leave the job site cleaner than we found it. Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been setting and leveling windows in Central Texas for 19 years, the last 9 of them with Westlight Windows Austin. He’s certified on PGT and CGI impact-rated lines, which matters when you’re installing hurricane-rated glass in a city that gets 35 mph wind gusts before a spring storm rolls through. Marcus is the one who can look at a 40-year-old aluminum frame on a 1970s ranch in Crestview and tell you within seconds whether the rough opening is still square. He keeps a beat-up notebook in his truck with measurements from jobs he did in 2015, because he says memory is fine but a number written down doesn’t move. On weekends he rebuilds a 1968 Chevy C10 in his garage.

Elena R. – Senior Installer

Elena came to window installation after five years in residential framing, and it shows in how she approaches rough openings. She’s a certified product specialist on Therma-Tru entry doors and can walk you through the difference between a fiberglass and steel door over the phone without reaching for a script. Dana is the reason our live phone coverage works at 2 a.m. when a patio door won’t latch. She keeps a photo of every completed job in a folder on her desk, organized by ZIP code.

Jordan P. – Apprentice Installer

Jordan joined the crew in 2023 after finishing a two-year building trades program at Austin Community College. He’s in the second year of his apprenticeship and works directly under Marcus on PGT and CGI installs, which means he’s learning from someone who has done thousands of them. His specialty right now is door hardware: adjusting hinges, setting thresholds, and making a Therma-Tru door close with one finger instead of a slam. Jordan is the one who sweeps the job site at the end of every day, twice, because he says he wants the homeowner to think we were never there except for the new window. He’s also the one who carries the laser level, because he dropped it once and nobody has let him forget it.
